I'm baaaaccckkk!
Whew. This last year or so has been rough with the pandemic so I decided to stash my suitcases and hang up my passport for the duration. Well things are looking a bit better and I am now fully vaccinated so plotting to creep out of my lil protective cocoon and venture forth on some in-state trips to feed my travel jones a snack. Yummy! First up will be a staycation to celebrate my niece's 30th birthday. She and another niece will be flying down to visit us in Florida for a week and I decided to book us for 4 nights at a local resort, so they can get some much needed Vitamin D. Following closely behind that will be a trip to the ever beautiful Florida Keys for my milestone birthday! Can you believe that I have lived in Florida for 19 years and never made it to the Keys. I hav been to Miami several times and Ft Lauderdale but never took the jaunt down the Overseas Highway and the 7 Mile Bridge to Key West.
